College Now

Tottenville High School, in partnership with Kingsborough Community College/CUNY, is excited to be able to offer FREE  College Now courses for the FALL 2024!   

There are many reasons to take KCC College Now Courses.  Not only are they FREE, but you will be earning college credits while in high school, which can save you TIME and MONEY in college!   Statistics show that students who participate in College Now classes outperform non-College Now students in undergraduate programs. The average College Now student earns 9-12 credits towards a Bachelor's Degree while still in High School.  Your College Now credits are issued by Kingsborough Community College.  These credits transfer seamlessly to any CUNY, and many SUNY schools. The number of courses offered at Tottenville HS is set by KCC/CUNY, based upon budget.   We cannot guarantee any class to any student so we ask you for four "different" selections.  Consideration will be given to upcoming seniors as a priority. 

NOTE:  KCC College Now courses are counted as elective credits that appear on your high school transcript and  averaged into your overall high school GPA. Exemplary attendance is required in all classes.
